Hello! I'm Uğurcan Çaykara, a passionate Platform Engineer with expertise across multiple domains. My core focus areas are cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering, while I also work on mobile, frontend, and AI development projects. I specialize in building distributed systems, highly available architectures, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Currently working on Kubeadapt, a Kubernetes cost optimization platform that reduces cloud spending by up to 80%. I have extensive experience with platform engineering, chaos engineering, observability, and leading cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
I'm always eager to learn new technologies and expand my skillset. My focus has been on mastering distributed systems, and I genuinely enjoy connecting with new people and exploring innovative ideas. I actively contribute to open-source projects and the broader tech community. In my spare time, I'm a gym rat and love mixing music - I enjoy playing my afro/melodic techno playlists with my RX3. Currently, I'm also experimenting with Strudel for algorithmic music composition.
